Double Tap to Zoom

Emerging from the sleeper hit TV show that is HBO's Industry, we have a whole cohort of style-icons-to-be on our hands! Only a few episodes into the British-American finance drama's third season, the cast's been spotted in more than one think piece's worth of stealth-wealthy ensembles – in and out of character.

With plot and cinematography reading as the "missing link between Euphoria and Succession", Industry's costume design and its actors' private modes of dressing, too, reside at a crossroads of where elegant maturity and a more youthful sense of humor meet.

While we have reservations vis-à-vis their in-show ethics, from a purely sartorial POV, you can definitely bank on Myha'la, Harry Lawtey, Marisa Abela & Co.'s on- and off-screen taste in what's good.

The Stars of HBO's Industry Know – and Look – Expensive:

Harry Lawtey

If you're in search of a man in finance, trust fund, 6"5', blue eyes, or want to cosplay as one – you've come to the wrong place. For better or for worse – I think for better – Harry Lawtey's personal picks are far removed from Patagonia of it all. When not playing Robert, the 27-year old Brit apparently swaps the gilets for pastel leather jackets, and I'm anything but mad about it.

Myha'la

Though not exactly quiet in her personal style, leading lady Myha'la has absolutely shredded recent promo tour outings. Her bottomless stiletto tank top getup, or this comically cutesy skirt-over-pants combo, stand in stark contrast to her role of Harper's more minimalist wardrobe – but in ways that make us appreciate the 28-year old's vast versatility even more.

Marisa Abela

Compared to her other most notable gig as none other than Amy Winehouse, Marisa Abela is unrecognizable as Yasmin. Taken hot off the press of season three screengrabs, the English actor's, well, caught in the act here, as the series' resident nepo baby, sporting what I'd venture is a fictionalized version of The Row's Margaux bag – hopelessly sold out pretty much everywhere but resale platforms, neatly casual'd down with a baseball cap and big sunnies.

Konrad Kay & Mickey Down

But speaking of breaking up the stuffy: An honorable mention must go out to the two creators and showrunners, Konrad Kay and Mickey Down. For the premier party, each opted for slightly boxy, double-breasted blazers, paired with either stripes-on-stripes, graphic neckties, tinted shades, or silly startup merch from within the Industry story's universe. Investments well made.
