Editor’s Notes: Issey Miyake's new menswear subline "IM MEN" has added three new styles to its Spring/Summer 2021 offerings with a small capsule of transformable pieces for the mid-season wardrobe transition.

The parka, blouson jacket, and wide-fit snap-button belted pants arrive in sage, chartreuse, and dark navy with a smooth matte finish. As per the "IM MEN" philosophy, each piece can be folded or rolled up to function as a rucksack or sidebag with extra pockets. You'll notice that Issey Miyake's signature pleating has been omitted in favor of smooth and crease-free fabrics, reflecting a new prioritization of functionality and practicality for the nascent subline.

The parka, blouson jacket, and wide-fit snap-button belted pants arrive in sage, chartreuse, and dark navy with a smooth matte finish. The pieces are retailing for approximately $1,525 for the coat, $1,220 for the jacket, and $560 for the pants on the Issey Miyake web-store. The price is steep but then again, it's essentially two products for the price of the one.
