Please don't kill me, Mr. Ghostface. I wanna get a pair of Nike's Scream-themed Air Force 1s.

This year, the Swoosh is welcoming Halloween a wee bit early with a gloriously ghostly configuration of its most popular low-top sneaker.

The Ghostface Air Force 1 is a spooky interpretation of Nike's black AF1. White, Scream-inspired paint detailing gives the sneaker a sketch-like appearance that mirrors Scream's animated mask style. 

Claw-like rips and tears at the Swoosh give the sneaker's signature branding a diabolically distressed upgrade that's made all the more horrific with blood-red accents at the lace and heel.

While the shoes Ghostface actually wears in the movies are all-black tactical work boots, more similar to Nike's SFB Air Field Ukiah, the Ghostface Air Force 1 is what the franchise's main antagonist would wear if he had a little more drip.

Though I guess he had more pressing matters to attend to, too.

Horrorphiles are hardly an underrepresented group when it comes to sneakers. From the "Halloween" Air Jordan 1 to the Oogie Boogie Court Shoe, Nike isn't afraid to let its fright flag fly.

Still, an abundance of scream-tastic sneakers is much better than the alternative: A world without scary good sneakers.
