Joel Osteen is going big this Easter Sunday, despite the Coronavirus pandemic. The televangelist's Lakewood Church in Houston will welcome Mariah Carey, Tyler Perry, and his friend Kanye West for a virtual Sunday service, TMZ reports.

According to sources close to the megachurch, Kanye was planning a big gospel performance with Joel before the Coronavirus made this impossible. Instead, Ye and his Sunday Service crew will be performing in LA and it will be broadcast over in Osteen's church.

Mariah Carey will be part of a special Covid-19 tribute. The singer will reportedly perform her hit "Hero" via webcam, in honor of medical professionals and first responders putting their lives on the line in this crisis. While Perry is slated to deliver a message of love and support to viewers during this trying time.

It's unclear whether these performances will be live or prerecorded. This is the latest part in the saga of Kanye West and Joel Osteen's bizarre friendship. Read our breakdown of their problematic relationship here.
