A Kross Studio Boba Fett Watch? "As You Wish"
These aren't the droids you're looking for, but if you're a Boba Fett fan, this is undoubtedly the new timepiece that you're looking for. Feast your eyes upon the Kross Studio Star Wars Boba Fett collector's set.
Looking at the original trilogy of Star Wars movies alone, the bounty hunter Boba Fett's rise to extreme popularity and pop-cultural icon within his own right is hugely surprising. All in all, across the three films, the character received a mere six-and-a-half minutes of screentime, but his now-iconic weathered green Mandolorian armor, blaster, and jetpack were enough to send young fans into a frenzy.
I can happily hold my hands up and say I'm one such fan – Boba and Jango were my go-to characters in Star Wars Battlefront II and the original LEGO Star Wars on PS2.
Once the character made his long-awaited comeback during The Mandolorian on Disney+, we all knew it was only a matter of time before he received extended media of his own, which eventually came in the form of The Book of Boba Fett.
Regardless of the show's mixed reviews, fanfare remains strong, so much so that Kross Studio has honed its skills to create an insanely detailed special-edition Boba Fett collector's set centered around a meticulously crafted tourbillon watch.
Created in collaboration with LucasFilm, the Swiss-designed piece featured Kross Studio's instantly recognizable central Turbillion, complete with a watch display by EFX that takes on the appearance of the bounty hunter's famed Slave I starship.
On a technical level, the watch features a mechanical complication showcased within a 45mm grade 5 titanium case, coated with chocolate PVD. Atop the tourbillon's cage, you'll find a miniature starship, which has been expertly crafted and engraved to replicate the ship's weathering in media.
Each of the ten watches took 90 hours to craft and will set you back a staggering $120,000 – so you better get collecting those galactic bounties if you're thinking about buying one.
