Editor’s Notes: Mizuno is celebrating the fourth anniversary of Parisian boutique Club 75 with a commemorative collaboration alongside La MJC. For the project the two come together on Mizuno's Mondo Control, which was introduced in 1994 as a part of the brand's Mondo series.

The Mondo Control was characterized by its signature stabilizer running through the shoe. This design element served as inspiration for Mizuno's Wave technology which debuted in 1997 with the Wave Rider sneaker. Now, La MJC is the first imprint to collaborate on the Mondo Control.

“I wanted to re-introduced the magic silhouette to the world without touching it too much, as its design is so strong and pure already," says La MJC founder Michael Dupouy. "Keeping things chic and classic I opted for a full white and full black duo, with premium materials, mesh, suede, leather and a subtle touch of 3M. Going too crazy on this one was unnecessary, as my first idea was to make sure you will remember the model, and enjoying it as we were still in 1994.”

Limited to just 75 pairs of each colorway, the “Carte Blanche” and “Or Noir” La MJC x Mizuno Mondo Control release on June 22 at Club 75 in Paris, again, in celebration of the store's fourth anniversary.
