Editor's Notes: You may have seen Trippie Redd, Offset, and Lil Baby flexing in fits with pieces by Leandro Lopes. Founded in 2015, the brand combines quality craftsmanship with innovative designs. Designer and entrepreneur Leandro Lopes created his namesake label to introduce a fresh perspective to footwear and ready to wear. “I will never follow an existing sneaker trend - my aim is to rather create the next one! There’s no other way,” he shares. “Whether it’s silhouettes or materials, I always aim to present the unexpected.”

A common thread in all the pieces is the quality production and finishing. This comes from Lopes' family history of Portuguese leatherware manufacturers. He was taught the trade early on and then opened his own workshop in 2018 in Portugal’s São João da Madeira where all of the brand's pieces are hand-crafted. “If there’s one thing I’ll never compromise on, it’s quality. It’s an obsession that runs in the family,” Lopes shares.

Check out the video and lookbook above to get a closer look at the Spring 2022 drop. The collection includes items like the Faisca kicks, a reimagined classic sneaker silhouette, and the Sputnik, an experimental footwear design.
