What We’re Saying: Following a preview from the man himself, today Givenchy has officially announced Matthew M. Williams' first-ever sneaker for the house. The GIV 1, as the shoe is called, is a refined silhouette that blends performance and luxury.

For the debut, we find the GIV 1 optioned in three colorways, two of which are leather and mesh based, while the third is offered in a crocodile-embossed leather. Boasting a sleek, aerodynamic design, the sneaker is dressed with embroidered and injected TPU details on the upper, while a fully transparent sole — with an Air Max-esque heel unit — draws attention to the bottom of the shoe. Underneath, strategically placed injection spots come together to form Givenchy's signature 4G emblem, which is featured on the side of the sneaker as well.

The gallery above spotlights Williams' GIV 1 in white and black colorways, with either a green or black midsole and black laces. You can purchase the shoe today by following the link below. For more on Matthew M. Williams, head here to delve into his artistic partnership with Playboi Carti.
