In a capsule collection as luxurious as it is practical, Michael Kors and ellesse team up to prove that good things come in unlikely pairs with the release of its retro athleisure line.

The 24-piece collection weaves together the two brand’s iconic logos, presenting an elevated twist on your everyday workout gear with pieces from track pants to gym bags. While this collaboration has been making its way around the world through various pop-up installations and activations, Highsnobiety decided to officially welcome the newly-joined duo to NYC in style.

To commemorate the iconic collab, we partnered with Michael Kors with the help of co-host and campaign star Emily Ratajkowski in the most New York way we knew how – at Rockefeller Center’s Bar SixtyFive. With DJ SooJoo spinning a skillful set on the decks, the evening exuded a vibe as smooth as the collection itself, attracting musicians, models and athletes alike, as well as a roster of New York’s finest including Nelson Tiberghien and Isabelle Chaput, Brenn Lorenzo, and Deja Foxx.

Of course, the event wouldn’t be complete without a few flex-worthy fits, and thanks to Michael Kors x ellesse, a few special guests showed up ready to stunt. Brooklyn’s Jay Critch wore the collab’s classic track suit jacket paired with his own iced out chain while guests like Tayshia Adams opted for its co-branded printed tank and matching bag.

Capping off the night, attendees hit the dance floor, creating a crowd in on-theme orange and blue while the sun set over the city. Check out more photos from the event below and shop the Michael Kors x ellesse capsule collection here.
