MR PORTER is one of the most proactive retailers when it comes to partnerships. And, beyond the many exclusive collections, the in-house MR. P line is, without doubt, one of the best in the business. But, while the brand usually reaches the upper echelons of luxury and streetwear to form its exclusive relationships, the latest collaboration looks to the high street.

MR PORTER x ARKET have collaborated for the first time to launch a limited-edition menswear and kidswear capsule that takes inspiration from nature. Consisting of 120 pieces, MR PORTER x ARKET launches on March 15 online and in ARKET’s flagship stores in London, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Paris, and Amsterdam.

Ready-to-wear pieces run the gamut from outerwear to tops, trousers, and accessories, all prepped for modern living. The collection as a whole embodies the two labels’ shared principle of modernist, bold, and colorful design that embraces nature. As such, the collection is ideal for the incoming seasons when exploration and play creep back into our lives.

Past the bold, playful surface of the sprawling collection is a release founded on ethics. A proportion of the collection is created in collaboration with London-based Planet Good Earth, a community project that brings families together through gardening, inspiring them to be a part of the worldwide environmental movement. Planet Good Earth graphics sit on elect garments, cementing this initiative as a central pillar of MR PORTER x ARKET.

Karl-Johan Bogefors, Brand & Communications Director at ARKET, says: “[The collection] is innovative, both unisex and ageless in its approach, inspired by the joy of color and nature. Launching this collaboration with MR PORTER gives us a unique opportunity to reach a global, style-conscious audience looking for modern and sustainable everyday design.” Daniel Todd, Buying Director at MR PORTER, adds: “This partnership was born from the shared values of the importance of spending time with your loved ones, experiencing the beauty of nature, and looking good while doing it. The clothes are made to explore and have fun in, and we wanted to convey a sense of freedom to our customers through this collection.”
