The Spring/Summer 2024 season is a strong one, and these are the labels below we’re really stanning this season.

We’ve picked out five brands ranging from Dries Van Noten – and what will be some of the last self-designed offerings for his namesake brand – to Kapital. They’re the labels that we can’t get enough of, and they take up a healthy portion of our own wardrobes.

They’re not newcomers by any means — in fact, what really stands out is that each of the brands we picked has a strong, consistent aesthetic. Maybe it’s this consistency that we crave in times of constant unravel?

We also enlisted the help of our experienced Market Editors, to tell us why these are the labels that stood out this season.

Loewe

"I love to see what Loewe comes up with each season, especially the Paula's Ibiza capsule collections make me excited to get dressed for the summer in the city.”

Dries Van Noten

"Whether you're tired of your minimalist wardrobe or always on the hunt for tasteful prints, this is the perfect brand for you.”

Birkenstock

"It doesn't get better or more simple than a new pair of suede/leather Birkenstocks, and I'm particularly excited to try out the Birko-Flor fabric — it's Birkenstock's answer to vegan leather.””

KAPITAL

"I feel like KAPITAL's appeal is pretty much universal, because you can find some OTT statement pieces as well as more plain options which always feature signature designs and are underpinned by unrivaled quality.”

BODE

"Shopping BODE pieces is a genuinely educational experience. I think it's so fun to learn about the history of the materials which are used for the garments and it means that every piece from the label comes with a fascinating backstory and heaps of character.”
