Designer: N.HOOLYWOOD

Season: FW19

Key Pieces: Check the mottled camo gilets and sherpa fleece in slide #7.

Editor’s Notes: Designer Daisuke Obana leaned into optic effects for N.HOOLYWOOD's FW19 collection with layered stripes over color-blocked fabrics, and cable knits treated with an ambiguous logo that reads both "N.HOOLYWOOD" and "New York" depending on how your eyes focus.

Elsewhere, unusual fabric pairings carried the bulk of the collection such as the mid-wash blue denim with orange his-vis patches at the ankles and on the sleeves, and leather-paneled varsity jackets which arrived in pink/brown/black and blue/orange/metallic colorways.

There was also a new collaboration with New Balance, which saw a new take on the classic 966 lifestyle model with egregious branding on the laces and heel, in addition to several pieces with Woolrich, including an over-shirt, down vest, pants and parka.
