Napapijri is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a bold new capsule collection that captures the essence of all four seasons. As part of the project, the brand has worked with four internationally recognized musicians on independent tracks inspired by what is arguably the most well-known musical interpretation of spring, summer, autumn and winter: Antonio Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons.

At the heart of the collection is Napapijri’s mainstay, the Rainforest Jacket. Typically available in individual block colors, this special edition multi-colored Rainforest Jacket features a colorful print that represents each season. Other recognizable features such as the spacious front pocket, ventilated underarms, water repellency and adjustable hood remain. The collection also includes a t-shirt and backpack featuring similar digital artwork; each color quadrant on the design represents a different season.

The musical project features four contemporary artists. Critically acclaimed London-based singer Raleigh Ritchie, also known for playing Grey Worm in Game of Thrones, layers his orchestral R&B style over Summer; LA’s TOKiMONSTA injects her signature beat-driven sound into Spring; Sharon Doorson captures Autumn’s ambience with her powerful vocals; and Berlin’s Jan Blomqvist weaves his distinct electronic music into winter.

The four artists will perform their tracks live during the collection's launch at Bread & Butter by Zalando in Berlin on September 2. In addition, guests will be invited into an immersive experience that will run throughout the entire Bread & Butter weekend. The multi sensory journey promises to engage sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch within an interactive space that allows guests to experience all four seasons in one place.

The Rainforest Jacket’s history and evolution also shaped Napapijri’s core FW17 collection which includes five new interpretations on the original design. Ski Rainforest, Rainforest Soft Shell, 30th Anniversary Rainforest, Rainforest Camouflage and Rainforest Pocket individually combine style with technicality, crossing the boundary between stylish streetwear and functional outdoor gear.

The Four Seasons collection will be available exclusively via zalando.com from September 1. Check it out in our shoot above alongside some of our favorite pieces from the FW17 mainline range and find out more via the link below.
