Crocs's Techy Trail Sneaker Is Military-Tough Now
Just when you thought Crocs Trailbreak 2 couldn't get better, the brand essentially turns it into the ultimate tech tank.
Enter the new Crocs Trailbreak 2 Tech Cordura.
Yes, the brand has wrapped the newest version in ripstop Cordura fabric, making the chunky trail sneaker incredibly strong and thus able to handle tougher conditions. It basically functions like military gear now.
Crocs has made some other small but important tweaks to the model, too. Specifically, this Trailbreak 2 Tech features a simpler lace system and an updated collar that not only makes it easier to wear but also gives it a cleaner look. Meanwhile, the brand also added a scratch-resistant rubber overlay, which, combined with the Cordura, makes for a seriously durable ride.
One of the great things about the Trailbreak — besides its outdoor-readiness — is its street-savvy colorways. The Cordura versions keep up the tradition, landing in stylish black and smoke grey options, which pass the vibe check for the trails and concrete jungle.
It's been another big season for gorp-tech sneakers. Nike introduced several shoes with GORE-TEX, Vibram soles, and Cordura. Now, Crocs is dishing out its own toughened trail models, too.
Speaking of which, the brand's Trailbreak 2 Tech Cordura sneaker is now available on its website for $110.
