New Balance’s England-Made Dad Sneaker Gets Its Roses
New Balance's Made in UK 991 sneakers have been coming up roses all year long with back-to-back banger releases. Now, it's getting more flowers with the "Rose Taupe" release.
It's essentially another rose-colored version of the dad shoe, featuring the usual luxe suede and mesh layers in deep pink and grey. Of course, it's complete with its signature beefed-up soles cushioned with New Balance tech.
And it's not your regular dad shoe. This particular pair, like other 991s from this year, was produced in England using their high-quality materials. It's why they cost a pretty penny, $270 to be exact. That certainly hasn't stopped dad-shoe enthusiasts from drooling over them.
The 991s have admittedly looked quite good. New Balance has blessed the streets with just about everything from exclusive chocolate-brown iterations to summery "Wind Chime" versions.
Now, it's going rosy again.
New Balance's 991v2 "Made in UK "Rose Taupe" sneakers will release on September 1 at select retailers like BSTN.
