Winter may be cold, but New Balance's "Light Arctic Grey" 992s are even colder.

The upcoming pairs feature chill blue suede and royal blue mesh moments, resulting in perhaps the iciest 992 dad shoes.

New Balance's sneaker, co-signed by Steve Jobs, had quite the summer, appearing in red-hot colorways like "Sea Stone" and "Pink Chalk."

Now, as we begin to make the transition into fall, the 992 is cooling things down. At the same time, it's still bringing the heat with its color options.

Indeed, New Balance just revealed its Made in U.S.A. Fall/Winter 2026 lineup, which includes fresh 990s and 992s for the season. The first release from the collection is expected to land in September.

Meanwhile, the New Balance 992 "Light Arctic Grey" sneaker is also anticipated to drop soon on New Balance's website. There's no hard release date yet, but if you start to feel a chill in the air soon, that may be a sign to your local NB store for the ice-cold dad shoes.
