According to several leak accounts, Nike’s Jordan Brand will be releasing another retro of the “Fire Red” Nike Air Jordan 3 this year. The model, which was originally released in 1988 and re-released in 2007 and 2013, will feature “Nike Air” branding on the heel for the first time since the OG came out.

Over the past few years, Jordan Brand has made a concerted effort to bring back some of its most iconic models and colorways with the original heel branding. The “Fire Red” AJ3 is just the latest in a string of true-to-OG retros.

It’s expected to be released at some point in August, so there’s still plenty of time for actual leaked and teased images to surface. So far, only mockups of the sneaker exist courtesy of said leak accounts. The sneaker pictured above is an older retro, which features the Jumpman logo on the heel.
