Editor’s Notes: According to leaks, Nike’s Jordan Brand could be gearing up to release a “What The?” version of the Air Jordan 4. Rumors suggest the sneaker, which will feature some combination of white, red, and blue, will be released in late November, and could be a mash-up of the “Fire Red,” “White Cement” and “Military Blue” colorways.
Whereas previously only blurry photos were available courtesy of Sneakerbar Detroit, we now have detailed product shots of the supposed upcoming release. Of course, the authenticity of the product shots cannot be completely verified, however, most leak accounts are in agreement that a “What The?” Nike Air Jordan 4 is coming later this year. The shots above, while still subject to change, could be close to the final design come November.
Nike has released “What The?” sneakers in the past, starting with Nike SB’s “What The?” Dunks. The chimeric and highly collectible sneakers blend numerous elements of different colorways for a bricolage effect. The image above isn’t official, but rather a mock-up created by House of Heat after news of the shoe first leaked.
