Double Tap to Zoom

Wait, Nike made Foamposites for...tennis players? Yes, and they're called Vapor x Posites.

It features the Foamposite's unmistakable molded upper and the model's Air Zoom cushioning. But this sneaker's ready for a different kind of court.

Like Nike's other tennis models, the Vapor x Posites also have the signature herringbone-patterned outsoles, which are good for biting the ground and helping players effortlessly zig and zag across the courts.

Believe it or not, this is the Vapor x Posites' second time on Earth. It released in 2019 but mostly at outlet stores. It came after the Courtposite, another tennis-basketball crossover which returned as a Supreme collaboration in 2023.

Now, the Vapor x Posites are finally getting a much wider release. As we speak, Nike's futuristic tennis sneakers are available on the brand's website for $170. They come in "Habanero Red" and "Metallic Red Bronze" colorways. And according to sneaker leakers, there's more colorways on the way.

With tennis season in full swing, Nike continues to show love to its court shoes. In addition to the Vapor x Posites, the brand has also brought back the Air Tech Challenge 2 and the Tennis Classic. At the time, it also released a Hypersmash Vapor 12 sneaker, which is like the Air Mag meets Hyperdunk, all wrapped in tennis-approved tech.

Who knows? With all these hybrid models hitting the court, maybe we'll catch the Courtposite again, too.
