Nike

Brand: Nike

Model: Air Max 720

Key Features: Boasting the largest Air bag of any of its predecessors, it joins other Air Max legends in similar iridescent makeups as the basis for “Throwback Future,”—colors and materials inspired by how we once imagined the future would look.

Release Date: The Air Max 720 “Throwback Future” will be available exclusively for NikePlus Members on March 18 (with the exception of France), ahead of the general release on March 21.

Price: $180

Buy: Nike.com and select retailers

Editor’s Notes: Nike’s “Throwback Future” collection is highlighted by the Swoosh’s newest Air Max to join the pack—the 720. Shimmering colorways amplify the Air bags of the Air Max 720, Air Max 95 PRM, Air Max Plus SE, VaporMax '19, VaporMax Run Utility, Air Max 270, Air Max Dia SE, and Air Max 97 LX that make up the entire pack.

“Our more expressive Air Max models shine with more expressive colorways,” says Courtney Dailey, Nike VP of Color Design. “We use color to show off a shoe’s technology and balance that with foundational grays and blacks.”

To top it off, anyone who purchases an Air Max 720 unlocks exclusive access to Nike's virtual 720 Air Store where you can redeem free, limited-edition merch where customers will be met by virtual shopkeeper and Manchester City footballer Raheem Sterling. The 720 Air Store will be available to shoppers in the UK, France, Netherlands, Germany, and Spain.

While the shoe drops March 21, NikePlus Members will exclusively have a chance to cop them early on March 18 (with the exception of France), so be sure to check your Nike app on drop day.
