Nike has released a new "Black Denim" Air Max 90 sneaker, which is actually only partially denim. So, don't call it another "jeaker."

It turns out the new clean Air Maxes feature raw-edged denim and other nice textures. There's also creamy leather Swooshes, smooth nubuck, and tightly knit mesh, all bathed in black.

This is not to say that Nike hasn't dropped full-denim Air Max 90s before (it has). The brand has also released denim Air Max sandals and Levi's x Air Max 95 sneakers.

Although the newest pairs are only roughly 25% denim, they don't need the full "jeakers" moment to be good. They're just as nice-looking with a sliver of denim.

It's also perfect for those easing their way into the denim-sneaker craze. It doesn't go full-throttle denim, but it offers just enough of the "jeaker" lifestyle.

Speaking of which, the Nike Air Max 95 "Black Denim" sneakers are now up for grabs on Nike Luxembourg's website for €159.99, or around $185.
