Nike made Levi's-level Air Max 95s without Levi's.

I mean, the sportswear brand has designed many good-looking denim shoes in the past, including Air Max Koko sandals and crisp Air Force 1s. So, it's not a total surprise seeing Nike dish out admittedly good-looking denim Air Max sneakers on its own.

The new Air Max 95 "Ashen Slate" pairs just so happen to come after the coveted Levi's collaboration, where the world-famous denim brand took the model for stylish spins. It's also done this with the Air Jordan 3 and Jordan 4 models.

But again, Nike did the latest "jeakers" all by itself. And it's not another crisp canvas sneaker disguised as denim shoes. The "Ashen Slate" pairs feature actual frayed denim layers on the upper, joined by the signature mesh panel near the laces. It's all washed in deep blue shades, which really takes this denim-clad stepper all the way home.
