Nike's Air Max Muse sneaker clearly ain't a Shox model, but it is quite shocking in design. That's the idea with Nike's all-new sneaker.

The Air Max Muse enters the spotlight as Nike's (literally) biggest Air Max sneaker, thanks to its incredibly chunked-up sole and equally eye-catching techy upper look.

According to Cam Eldem, Nike's footwear designer for women's sportswear, the Nike Air Max Muse was created to "surprise women sneaker fans." That's right. Those outrageously huge Air-pumped soles want sneakerheads' attention — as if they could even ignore them.

There isn't anything quite like the Air Max Muse in Nike's collection, which has some pretty chonky Air Max sneakers to begin with. Recent models like the ultra-beefy Air Max Portal and Air Max Flyknit Venture exist. Nike's even emphasized established models with big Air energy like the Air Max Sunder.

It's already off to a solid start. Some pretty incredible star power backs the Air Max Muse. Before Nike officially unveiled the model, Olympian Jordan Chiles and stylist-designer Veneda Carter quietly welcomed the sneaker into the sneaker game with their signature styles.

Now, after the lowkey but massive teases, the Nike Air Max Muse is finally ready to make a splash — more like a stomp. Nike's newest Air Max sneaker is scheduled to drop on December 11, followed by a global launch on January 10, 2025.

Nike also confirmed more Air Max Muse colorways and "styles" will release in 2025.

New year, new air. Lots of it. Am I right?
