Double Tap to Zoom
Nike
1 / 11

Nike launched the intriguing Air Zoom Type earlier this year as a lifestyle version of its record-breaking Zoom Alphafly NEXT% runner. While already boasting a rather unusual design, the DIY-inspired sneaker has gotten even wilder with this new update courtesy of the Swoosh.

Here, we see the Air Zoom Type SE offered in a sail, light mahogany brown, and white colorway, outfitted with everything from a sherpa shroud and metallic zippers, to jewel dubraes and multicolored laces. The sneaker also features a furry lining, geometric pattern on the pull tabs and insoles, and a speckled midsole to make it stand out even further.

If you're thinking it's all a bit too much, we certainly can't disagree with you, but at least you can remove the zippered shroud from over-top the laces. Still, it's an undeniably outlandish look for an already eye-catching silhouette.

Attracted to the wild design? You'll be able to purchase this particular colorway of the Air Zoom Type SE ($150) soon at select retailers and Nike.com.
