Nike Made Its Own "Burberry" Dunks
Move over, Burberry shirt. Nike's got the next baby shower staple, "Burberry" Dunks.
To be clear, Nike's newest Dunk Lows aren't a collaboration with the luxury fashion house. Instead, the sneakers feature a checked design which reminds us of Burberry's signature print.
They feature polished leather underlays finished with a brown check print. It's so glossy I almost thought the sneakers were see-through. If so, it could join the club alongside those "Pink Rise" Dunks.
But these Dunks aren't invisible — just shiny and Burberry-coded.
We've seen countless Burberry-style Nike sneakers designed by sneaker customizers. But with the new Dunks, it feels like we're one step closer to getting a Burberry x Nike moment.
After all, the luxury brand has already worked with the Supreme, arguably the biggest brand in streetwear. Would it be so far-fetched to drop a sneaker with the sportswear giant? I think not.
Until then, the new Dunk Low "Night Forest" sneakers are now available on Nike China's website for ¥849, around $126.
