The latest major Air Jordan 1 collaboration that has caught our eye is the Nike Jordan 1 High Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse which is set to release on May 20, but you can secure it already at StockX.
Building on the timeless appeal of the original Jordan 1 Chicago colorway, the Nike Jordan 1 High Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse features a white leather base, red overlays, and black trims. In fact, the color scheme is so closely related to the shoe’s original colorway that, from a distance, you’d be forgiven for thinking that it is the OG.
It’s not. Closer inspection reveals an array of patchwork fabrics ranging from patent leather to suede and even graphic hits to the lacing column and collar. The varying materials have been carefully chosen to mimic the groundbreaking animation style used in the 2018 Spider-Man remake, which is set for its second installment later this year.
