If you were in Berlin this past week, you know this was the perfect time to experience the Mind001 in action. Nike and Zalando’s Mind Game event took over the Highsnobiety Store on Unter den Linden for a three-day trialing experience from January 15 till January 17, putting the Mind001 to the test.
The event kicked off on January 14 with an exclusive panel featuring Nike’s Chief Science Officer Matthew Nurse and NBA legend Marc Gasol, who dove into the science behind the shoe. After the panel talk, things heated up with a dunk contest hosted by the Berlin Dreamers basketball team. If that wasn’t enough, the Hoop Zone was open across all three days for anyone wanting to shoot some hoops, break the daily record of the Berlin Dreamers and take home a special goodie bag.
Beyond the Mind001, the event really leaned into basketball energy that fueled Berlin last week, all thanks to the NBA game taking place in the city. There was a full court set up in the space, iconic jerseys on display, and the best part? Everything you saw, from performance gear to basketball-inspired looks, is available on Zalando, for you to take that on-court spirit straight into your everyday fits.
