Nike's Most Textural Moon Shoe Is a Charming Lil' Thing
Nike's Moon Shoe looks absolutely darling (and almost unrecognizable) with its new floral makeover.
The original Nike sneaker went full-on "soft girl era" with floral-patterned mesh underlays, hairy suede overlays, and velvet shoelaces. It's all realized in soft colors like off-white, beige, and mossy green.
Oh, and the cherry on top is definitely the tiny rose charms, which land around the laces.
It's easily the cutest and most textural take on the Nike model. Honestly, you almost can't tell it's the Moon Shoe, that is, until you stand back and notice the signature slim shape and low Waffle soles.
The floral Moon Shoe looks to be one of many versions coming out this fall. Jacquemus just launched its blue Moon Shoe collaboration to mark the opening of its Miami store. We've also spotted some leather iterations and more classic nylon options in autumn-ready color schemes.
They'll all be dropping very soon, too. The pretty flower-covered Moon Shoe is due to release any day now on Nike Japan's website for ¥15,730, roughly $100.
