Nike’s High-Tech Running Shoe Is a Stylish Time Traveler
Nike's Pegasus Premium sneaker makes even time travel look good.
Dubbed "Now & Then," the newest Nike runners land in this clean "Light Iron Ore" colorway, resulting in a vintage-y grey take on the model.
It looks like Nike went back in time for these pairs. But we know that's not the case, especially since the Pegasus Premium features the best modern-day tech, like ZoomX foam and Air Zoom units.
But even on a normal day, the Pegasus Premium maintains some classic charm in subtle ways. For instance, it features the famous Waffle outsoles as well as a wing motif on the heel tab, which nods to the Pegasus legacy.
It's a little bit of old mixed with a little bit of new. Better yet, it's now and then.
And it's certainly another good-looking pair for the Pegasus Premium offering, which features clean Swooshless takes and even A Ma Maniére spins.
Lucky for runners, Nike designed a whole "Now & Then" collection of retro-styled running shoes. It not only features the Pegasus Premium but also a Pegasus 42 and Vomero 18 dressed in similar nostalgic color schemes.
But for those interested in the "Light Iron Ore" Pegasus Premiums, it's now up for grabs on Nike's website for $220.
