.SWOOSH, Nike's web3 platform, has revealed its latest IRL exclusive sneaker, a patent leather “404 Error”-inspired Air Force 1 Low.

Following the success of the Air Force 1 Low Tinaj sneaker late last year, Nike’s .SWOOSH is preparing a sleek leather “Racer Blue” iteration inspired by the 404 error message that appears when a web page can’t be found.

The sneaker, which comes equipped with the AF1’s archetypal chunky white midsole and transparent outsole, is a minimalist take on one of Nike’s most famed silhouettes and features all the hallmarks of the classic sneaker (perforations aside).

Despite the sneaker’s error-inspired make up, though, the “404 Error” AF1 is impressively great-looking and, well, actually error-free.

While the sneaker is fairly sparse, the shoe does feature “404 Error, the requested upper was not found. Try again” emblazoned near the heel, the exact wording that appears in the famed error message.

.SWOOSH’s “404 Error” Nike Air Force 1 Low is expected to officially release later this summer and be available exclusively for .Swoosh members only.

How exactly the sneaker will be released, though, is unclear, which isn’t too surprising considering just how unpredictable the world of web3 is.

A digital raffle perhaps? Some sort of meta release that no one above the age of 30 could understand? Or maybe it’ll only be available to long-time .SWOOSH members?

Anyways, for now all we can do is wait and hope that in the meantime we aren’t served with an 404s ourselves.
