Nike Remixes Its Dad Shoe Into a Winterized Stomper (Again)
Nike has winterized the Zoom Vomero 5 sneaker. Again.
The Zoom Vomero Roam has awakened from its summer slumber and is now ready to, well, roam the streets again in the colder seasons.
Nike has even introduced brand-new, stylish fall colorways. For instance, the "Obsidian" pairs offer this cool two-tone design with half navy blue and half grey uppers, plus plenty of winter steez.
Expect all the cold-weather-ready touches from last time, including extra-thick soles with Zoom Air cushioning and high-abrasion rubber. It also keeps its rubber mudguards, like having another piece of armor on top of the already sturdy, breathable uppers.
Nike dropped the Vomero Roam in 2024, right at the peak of the Zoom Vomero 5 wave. It kept what we loved about the dadcore sneaker — the great colorways, classic retro-tech design, and comfort — but in a low-top, winter-boot-ish format.
Now, it's back and looking good as ever.
The new Zoom Vomero Roam "Obsidian" sneakers are now available on Nike's website alongside other colorways. They retail for $190.
