In times when everyone else is looking to the past for inspiration, Oakley is setting its sights on the future. For its 50th birthday, the brand conceived a collection of pieces of what we'll be wearing 50 years from now.
Dubbed the "Artifacts of the Future" line, this special release is "designed for 2075 and delivered to 2025", and features Oakley's signature eyewear, clothing and other goods.
As the cherry on top, Team Oakley athletes Jaylen Brown, Trinity Rodman, and Kylian Mbappé headline the corresponding campaigns.
Divided into three glasses silhouettes, and Oakley's "Reserve" apparel range, this most recent drop for SS25 is stacked to the brim with high-tech performance gear you'll be as happy to own in the present as you'll be in half a century.

The Plantaris' look and function are inspired by creature anatomy, specifically the muscle movement of a frog mid-leap. The flexible silicone rear stem mimics the raw power and dynamic motion of said plantaris muscle, giving it aesthetic edge and ergonomic performance.

The Lateralis is Oakley's retro-futurist attempt at transporting a beloved '90s model decades into the future. It's an update that pays homage to the brand's 50 year legacy by jumping ahead, aesthetically, to what'd be its 100th.
