What We’re Saying: The Mean Eyed Cats are back. Patta and Vault by Vans have reignited their longstanding partnership to bring back the “Mean Eyed Cats” collection, the first of which was released in 2015 and a follow-up of which dropped two years later.

As with the previous two collections, this year’s comprises a range of colorways across the Old-Skool and Sk8-Hi, ensuring that every type of sneakerhead finds something they like. In addition to the sneakers, Patta has put together a three-piece series of graphic T-shirts and a collaborative pair of socks.

The Patta x Vans “Mean Eyed Cats” pack was originally released as a token of appreciation to Patta’s connection to and appreciation for Beams in Japan. The sneakers feature Patta’s script logo across the quarter panel on the upper, as well as detailing on the taping, foxing, and lacing.

Following the Patta-exclusive initial drop, a wider release at select retailers is planned for July 23.
