'Pokémon Sword' & 'Shield' Trailer Introduces New Items & Abilities

Another week brings another look at Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield ahead of the titles' November release. The new trailer hones in on the abilities and items that will be featured in the upcoming games.

Galarian Weezing’s Neutralizing Gas is the leading story as far as new abilities go in Pokémon: Sword and Shield. This will in turn allow you to neutralize the effects of other Pokémon's abilities. Furthermore, Hidden Abilities will appear during Max Raid Battles as you attempt to capture Pokémon.

In addition to the new abilities, the latest trailer for Pokémon: Sword and Shield highlights new items including Room Service and Eject Pack. To see how these can be used in the games, simply press play above.

Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield are due out for Nintendo Switch November 15.
