The holiday video game cycle is in full swing and November's jam-packed with several highly anticipated AAA games we can't wait to get out hands on. From Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding to Need for Speed Heat, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and more.
EA and Respawn have fans eagerly waiting to dive back into the galaxy far, far away with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The game picks up right after Episode III, after the empire ended the Jedi's whole career, except for one. In the game, you play as Cal, one of the last remaining Jedi on the run. Throughout the single player campaign, you will rediscover abilities to use the force, discover secrets about the Jedi, and go saber-to-saber with the Empire. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC November 15.
Moving over to Nintendo, the Switch will be dropping one of its biggest titles of the year in Pokemon Sword & Shield. The latest installment in the pocket monster franchise will be the first to be released on the Switch. The game takes place in the Galar region, a first for the series, and is expected to be as large as Sun and Moon, content wise. There's also several new features for the games including cooperative raid encounters, a fully explorable open world area, and "Dynamax" and "Gigantamax" forms for Pokémon. Pokemon Sword & Shield are out on Nintendo Switch on November 15.
