We're no closer to knowing the official release date yet of PUMA's upcoming Thunder Spectra sneaker, but that hasn't stopped the silhouette popping up across our feeds these past few weeks. The hype, predictably, has been building too.

Key retailers like Footpatrol, Foot District, Overkill, CNTRBND, and the Social Status were soon followed by Moscow's Brandshop.

Also spotted: Krept and Konan, J.I.D., Smokepurpp, Youngboy Never Broke Again, Mcflyy, Belly, French insider and stylist Barbara Malewicz, and js Roques of @jaimetoutcheztoi, and in our Milan Fashion Week sneaker round up. Peep it:

The Thunder Spectra's bulky form, gained through an expanded molded TPU midsole combined with its bold color pops played out on a combi upper of mesh and premium nubuck harks back to the chunkier, louder running silhouettes of Millennium-era sneakers. Specifically, the Thunder Spectra is said to pay homage to PUMA's own work in that field, especially its PUMA x McQ work with the late great Alexander McQueen that first began in 2005.

Full release info will follow as soon as we have it.
