TMZ reports that Rich the Kid has been hospitalized following a home invasion. The rapper was robbed at gunpoint in the Los Angeles home of his girlfriend, sustaining injuries from a series of beatings. The robbers made away with a substantial amount of cash and jewelry, while Rich was sent to the hospital, confirmed by an Instagram post by the rapper himself.

It has been a tumultuous year, to say the least, for Rich the Kid. The celebratory nature of his long-awaited album The World Is Yours was subsequently marred by accusations of domestic abuse and violence by his estranged wife.

As of press time, no other official statement was made by Rich or his team regarding the incident.

In less disheartening news, Travis Scott delivered an adorable random act of kindness to a fan's request. See what he did right here.
