In an era of bizarre sneaker silhouettes, Puma is leaning into the obscure with its latest Mostro iteration. The Mostro Move. 

Named after the Italian word for monster, the Mostro is a genuinely strange shoe, in the best possible way. 

Born from the collision of '60s sprinting spikes and '80s surf shoes, it's a silhouette that shouldn't work on paper but absolutely does in person. 

Since its major comeback in 2024, everyone from A$AP Rocky to JJJJound has put their spin on it, and the Mostro has handled every reinvention without ever losing what makes it special. Now, with the Move, the sneaker is letting the silhouette speak for itself, and evidently, it has plenty to say.

The Mostro Move keeps things clean. Puma White and Warm White make up the palette, minimal, almost clinical, and completely intentional. The sculptural, low-profile shape does the heavy lifting, while the avant-garde spiked sole adds just enough edge to remind you this isn't your average lifestyle shoe. 

No laces, no fuss, just a slip-on silhouette that looks like it arrived from somewhere slightly ahead of the rest of us. 

Whether we’ll eventually catch up is yet to be seen.
