Editor’s Notes:  Dominic Ciambrone, aka The Shoe Surgeon, follows up his one-off military-inspired Jordans for Travis Scott with a Lux “Rubberized" Air Jordan 1. The new sneaker takes design cues from OFF-WHITE variations on the silhouette, as evidenced by the familiar zip-tie which also gets the python treatment.

The shoe includes several Abloh-inspired features including quotation marks around the “RUBBERIZED” text on the outsole. Ciambrone has used the same orange hue to accent the AJ1.

There is also text on the ankle flaps. An oversized white swoosh adorns the lateral sides of the sneaker, which overlays a gray panel.
