Double Tap to Zoom

Thanks to size?, New Balance's once minimalist 204L sneaker is now anything but.

The UK retailer is doing the most in the best way with its own exclusive version of the 204L sneaker. It said goodbye to the model's signature mesh-and-suede construction and hello to green seersucker gingham underlays and fuzzy chocolate-brown suede.

And the 204L keeps its Miu Miu-level charm, with the brand preserving the general slender low-soled look plus the trendy double shoelaces.

For the most part, New Balance has stuck to simple (and sometimes tasty) color schemes and classic suede constructions. The "wildest" pair was a tasteful cow-print iteration, and even that wasn't too crazy.

The size-exclusive 204Ls are the busiest yet (again, complimentary).
