Double Tap to Zoom

Oscar-winning writers, directors, and producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller (aka the guys behind projects like The Lego Movie and Spider Man: Into The Spider-verse) have just signed a five-year deal with Sony Pictures Television (SPT), Deadline reports.

Not much is known about what TV projects the duo will be working on exactly, but it's said that a suite of TV content will be developed from Sony's Universe of Marvel characters and it's referred to as the "Spider-verse." This could potentially include characters like Venom, Morbius, and Doctor Octopus.

Alongside developing their own projects, the pair will work on and supervise projects penned by other writers. All shows will be made for Sony's network, cable, and streaming platforms. More information to follow.
