Stone Island has been digging through the crates this season to pull something special out of the bag. During its time in the archive, the design team has stumbled upon a fan favorite, revisiting its 1990 Heritage Camouflage to deliver a bold selection of FW22 bangers.
Perhaps one of the best parts of being a devoted Stone Island fan is seeing the pieces that you grew up on finding their way back into the brand's mainline.
Given that the Italian powerhouse has been in operation for 40 years now, it should come as no surprise that Stone Island boasts one of the industry's most extensive apparel archives. Within that lives some of its most exciting fabrications, patterns, and finishes — with Heritage Camo being one of the best.
Heritage Camo is exactly what it says on the tin. This is old-school Stone Island, just like your old man wears down the pub before striding down to the local football derby.
Heralding from the brand's first decade in the game, this mismatched pattern work borrows three distinct camouflage color variants from the era and revises them with vertical and diagonal shading to give them new life.
Essentially, all three have been blasted together using fabrications such as printed nylon ripstop on the outerwear components, creating one of the season's biggest statements.
