Double Tap to Zoom

And just like that, the Stüssy x Nike LD-1000 sneaker collaboration strikes gold...with a new so-called "Sanded Gold" colorway.

Indeed, more breathable elderly running shoes are en route from Stüssy and Nike, who just launched their first delivery in the first week of July.

Stüssy's Nike LD-1000 sneaker collab is now back (and better), revealed in golden glory alongside some pops of pink hints.

On the latest Stüssy x Nike LD-1000, the stimulating mesh and suede uppers are bathed in golden-bronze hues. And the familiar woven double Swoosh and buttery heel tab are now painted in a pretty pink shade. Summery!

Underfoot, the retro Nike sneaker again flaunts an aged midsole capped with the famous waffle outsole. Elsewhere, expect Nike and Stüssy badges to shine again, including the collaborative tongue tag scribbled in Stüssy's famous surf-ready script.

After images of Stüssy's latest Nike shoes landed on our feeds back in January, Stüssy finally dropped its long-awaited collaborative spin on the Swoosh's most elderly waffle-soled sneaker on July 12. The Californian brand delivered its newest Nikes in two seasonal schemes, Action Green and Phantom, alongside some surf-ready clothes and sunglasses all branded with Swooshes aplenty.

The first batch sold out in the blink of an eye (shocker), but it looks like Stüssy and Nike plan to extend the fun in the sun with even more collaborative kicks.

According to sneaker folks with their ears to the streets, the Stüssy x Nike LD-1000 sneakers are expected to drop in the "Sanded Gold," "Particle Grey," and "Pinksicle" later this summer.

After all, is it really summer without breeze-welcoming Nike sneakers from Stüssy? I think not.
