For its latest sneaker collaboration, Superkicks treats the adidas Samba like a keepsake trunk.

The results? The brand dishes out an "Heirloom" Samba sneaker with studded black leather, velvety olive green underlays, and patterned linings. It also features a leather buckle across the shoelaces, nodding to the boxes which carry generations worth of family stories and mementos.

Superkicks has a way of unlocking core memories with its sneaker collaborations. Earlier this year, the brand dropped a dyed "Jamun" PUMA Palermo, inspired by Indian summers spent at grandmother's house during childhood.

And we've seen the Samba reinterpreted in many ways over the years. It's been a Miu Miu-flavored sneaker and even gone full balletcore as the Samba Jane. Now, thanks to Superkicks, the ubiquitous adidas model has become a literal family heirloom.
