HIGHArt is Highsnobiety's ode to all things artistic. From our “museum store” pop up in Miami, a print magazine, and exclusive content and product with collaborators like Chito, Honey Dijon, Parra, Matt McCormick and more, we’re going deep on the art world. Explore HIGHArt here.

Out of many collaborations that we have created as part of HIGHArt, none of them have made us cover new ground like Sylvie Fleury. Sure, we've made merch before, even if it hasn't been this highbrow. But a crystal dildo, that's something new for us.

If you're not familiar with Fleury's work, the Swiss artist uses a range of media that spans sculpture, performance, installation, and painting, to create work that explores the role of consumeristic fetishization in our daily lives. Of course, we had to hit her up to get her take on HIGHArt.

Fleury first came into the art scene with her 1990 installation titled "C'est La Vie!" taking shopping bags from luxury labels such as Christian Lacroix and Estée Lauder and exhibiting them as readymades. Since then, the Swiss artist's takes on fashion have included incorporating high heels and their shoeboxes in a sculpture, exhibiting Vogue and Harper's Bazaar covers, and making a bronze cast of a Celine handbag.

For her collaboration with Highsnobiety, the artist created a 100 percent crystal dildo. Matching the luxurious theme of the dildo, the item is packaged within a lavish flip-lid box lined with blue fur.

Not intended to be used as a toy, the piece serves as a comment on our relationship to consumeristic society. This extremely limited sculpture comes with a numbered certificate that will tell you which of the 12 dildos available worldwide you own.
