Season: Summer 2018
Key Pieces: The purple utility shorts are the must-have piece in this strong color-block collaboration. They’re water repellent and perfect for chilling poolside all summer long.
Release Date: June 23
Buy: Select BEAMS retailers
Editor’s Notes: The North Face and Japanese brand BEAMS have teamed up once again to deliver another bold, colorful capsule collection of outdoor apparel. While each piece boasts technical specs perfectly suited to adventuring in the wilds — climbing, trekking, paddleboarding, you name it — they’ll slide just as easily into any urban wardrobe.
In addition to the waterproof utility shorts, the caps are also an essential summer cop, with their five panels incorporating breathable mesh to improve ventilation during those sweatier months.
Other pieces include vests and T-shirts. All items come in four colorways: turquoise, tan, black, and purple. Each also boasts graphic branding from both labels, with prices reportedly set at $45-$200.
