The UGG x BAPE Lookbook Starring Lil Wayne Just Dropped

Editor’s Notes: After getting a first look back in December at BAPE's 25th-anniversary exhibition, the full lookbook for the upcoming UGG x BAPE collection has arrived — and its modeled by Lil Wayne.
If you know Wayne, the choice of spokesperson makes total sense. UGGs have been enjoying a serious revival lately thanks to collabs with brands like Y/Project, Heron Preston, and KITH, but Weezy has been wearing the brand for years.
“Been rocking UGG and BAPE since the beginning,” Lil Wayne said in a statement. “This collab is next level.”
The collection includes a host of co-branded sheepskin footwear, including classic UGG boots made over with a gold chain, lace-up sneakers and a slip on Tasman model, all featuring a subtle BAPE camo print. The footwear ranges in price from $275 to $350, while the jacket comes to a hefty $3,500.
The first release will hit select BAPE stores at the end of February (date TBC). In early April, the brands will release the collaborative sneaker and Xavier slide sandal which retail for $350 and $250, respectively.
