Rick Owens presented his Spring/Summer 2021 menswear collection this evening as a part of Paris Fashion Week Men's digital edition.

Back in January, Owens presented several styles for FW20 which, upon reflection, actually lent themselves to a very glam-rock lockdown situation with cozy shearling jackets, asymmetrical one-pieces, swishy pajamas, and five-inch platform heels.

However, things appear to be heating back up for SS21. The title of this collection — "PHLEGETHON" — refers to an infernal river from ancient greek mythology, which would cause unimaginable pain to those who swam in it or drank it. In Dante's Inferno, the Italian poet described it as a river of blood that boils souls.
