Highsnobiety’s women-focused shopping content is put together by our team of expert women curators and writers to bring you the very best in streetwear, fashion, and sneakers.

Finding the perfect pair of sneakers can be a daunting task for anyone, but the challenge becomes even harder when you’re a woman. Many of the most coveted sneakers only come in men’s sizes, and a good amount of sportswear brands still persist in offering women pink, glittery shoes. Thankfully, some brands are catching up with the times and offering sneakers that women will actually wear. Having brought you some of the black footwear every woman should own, we’re also shining a light on the best white sneakers for women.

While there’s no questioning an all-black sneaker’s place in any outfit, a pair of squeaky-clean white creps is essential to any woman’s rotation. No matter what’s going on from the ankles up, throwing on that new pair of white sneakers can make all the difference. Needless to say, preservation is key when it comes to white shoes, so you’ll want to invest in the appropriate cleaning products to keep them looking as fresh-out-the-box as you can before inevitably submitting to IDGAF vibes.

Brought to you by Highsnobiety curator Rhianna Matthews, our selection includes dope options from classic sportswear brands such as adidas and Nike, fashion powerhouses Prada and COMME des GARÇONS, and hyped brands including A-COLD-WALL*.

Find out what Rhi has to say about each of the sneakers below, and click through to shop if you agree with her picks.

A-COLD-WALL* x Nike Zoom Vomero +5

“The Zoom Vomero +5 is one for the more fashion-forward sneakerhead. The mixed-material upper features A-COLD-WALL* branding on the toe and an architectonic heel counter, which you’ll either love or absolutely hate. If you happen to hate it, you can always remove the heel counter like our man Nigel Minani did here.”

COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Platform Cortez

“Geez, it’s been a minute since these shoes appeared on our radar and now they’re finally available to buy. Similar to the Zoom Vomero +5, this is another high-fashion take on a sporty silhouette that you’ll either love or hate. I personally love it. This platform version of the Cortez will give you a good extra few inches and will definitely set you above the rest.”

Nike Air Force 1 Jester XX

“For women, particularly shorter women, an Air Force 1 with a chunkier sole or Upstep is always a winner. This second iteration is super clean and easy to wear, and I love the deconstructed Swoosh, which looks like it’s almost melting off the shoe. The label tag also adds a nice detail and the laces are of a sleeker, higher-quality material than on a standard Air Force 1. A perfect kick and one of my favorites right now.”

New Balance MX608WT

“New Balance’s latest MX608WT sneaker is a really nice take on the dadcore trend, this time in a sleek white colorway with subtle side branding and low-key blue details. This sneaker also comes in three other colorways and is actually pretty affordable. I’d say this is for the slightly nerdy, more low-key sneakerhead.”

Prada Cloudbust

“This one is for the more mature sneakerhead, elevating your street style with a more high-fashion vibe. I’m a big fan of the laceless construction, and the mesh detail is really nice, too. They boast a cozy mesh upper with a velcro front strap, which makes them super comfortable and easy to slip on.”

A-COLD-WALL* x Nike Air Force 1

“Samuel Ross has been killing it lately and his latest spin on the Air Force 1 is fucking lit. This is A-COLD-WALL*’s third collaboration with the Swoosh, and this time the sneaker comes in a Flyleather material made out of recycled materials, for a more sustainable lifestyle. Thanks to their sleek design, this pair is great for bigger occasions. A definite cop for me.”

Acne Studios Manhattan Tumbled

“If you’re into chunky sneakers, then the Acne Studios Manhattan Tumbled is perfect for you. This iteration’s smudging is a really nice touch and the padded tongue and collar webbing will keep you tucked in and cozy. Perfect for the colder months.”

adidas Originals by Alexander Wang Skate Super

“Alexander Wang never seems to disappoint when it comes to adidas collabs. This low-key skate shoe keeps things true to the Three Stripes’ roots, albeit with a more elevated look. The three-tone sole provides a nice blurred effect, while the buffed leather makes things much more luxurious.”

adidas Originals by Alexander Wang Bball

“This is probably one of the warmest, most comfortable kicks I own. I love the perforated detailing at the toe and the tight fit around the ankle. A really nice pair for the colder months.”

Eytys Angel Patent

“Another super-chunky sneaker, this time by Eytys. These can be worn with virtually any outfit and you can either dress them up or down. The patent leather is really nice quality and will get even better with age. If you like the chunky look and need a couple of extra inches, this is most definitely the sneaker for you.”
