On October 19, Moncler Genius unveiled another stacked season of collaborations with familiar fashion faces like A$AP Rocky, NIGO, and Willow Smith. Yes, the Willow Smith.

Willow says the Moncler Genius collaboration took months to come together. But the results have been quite fulfilling for the musician, author, and — takes deep breath — talkshow host.

Willow's Moncler collection is incredibly personal, almost like a starter pack on how to dress like the stylish personality. Roomy Moncler puffers feature silver rings, nodding to Willow's septum piercings. At the same time, a t-shirt includes handwritten lyrics from her song "Alone."

Willow's reimagined Moncler logo — a "W" instead of an "M" — appears across the collection, stamped on the roomy sweats, beanies, and rugged Salix boots.

"I truly believe that whatever art you choose to create, whether it's music, fashion, filmmaking, etc., should come from a deep place of inspiration and honesty within the artist," Willow tells Highsnobiety.

"That's what makes it special! If this isn't happening, if it's not authentic to the creator, I truly don't see the point."

In classic Moncler fashion, Willow's pieces are naturally as functional as they are stylish. Expect some jackets to be reversible, while other garments include zip-off details, allowing an entirely new silhouette to shine.

"I'm incredibly passionate about the outdoors and exploring this magnificent earth, up close and personal when I can, so it was important that these pieces reflected that for Moncler and myself," Willow says.

"This collection is chic and beautiful, with a utilitarian twist to ensure every piece is durable. I imagine these clothes effortlessly transitioning from nighttime camping to high fashion & evening wear."

Willow's Moncler pieces come in colorways: black and an off-white color named "moon dust." The two-toned color palette symbolizes a "meeting of opposites."

"Minimalism and utilitarianism. Femininity and masculinity. Black and white. Bringing two juxtaposing ideas together in an elegant way is something that really excites me, and I wanted to explore that in this collection."

Seeing Willow's name on the Moncler Genius lineup almost makes you want to pinch yourself to make sure it's real (it is).

Over the years, Willow has developed a solid relationship with fashion. She's been a muse to labels like Acne Studios, Marc Jacobs, and Chanel. Plus, her killer personal style is a spectacle in its own right.

But we rarely get Willow Smith-designed collaborative clothing and accessories, let alone a collection made with Moncler. Well, here we are!

"I spent a lot of time thinking about the message I wanted to convey with these pieces because I wanted to create a world, not just an aesthetic," Willow says.

"Moncler is such an iconic brand. I really wanted to go all out for them, and they made that possible."
